TWO TO ONE DESIRE

“He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He
also will hear their cry and save them.” (Ps.145:19).
We must have had desires that never materialized at some point, and we wondered if what David said in this scripture is actually true or meant for us. David must have spoken out of experience, no doubt. However, the real catch in what he said is, “THOSE
WHO FEAR HIM.” For God to fulfil our desire or hear us
when we cry, He must see us as those that fear Him.
What does it mean to fear the Lord? Simply put, it is
to know and obey His will always. Obeying the will of
God brings us to the point where our desire becomes
one with His desire, and anything we ask of becomes
His will. God’s purpose is to bring us to the level where
we reason and see things the way He reason and see things.1Corinthisns 2:16 describes it as having “the
mind of Christ.” This is that point when God answers
us before we call on Him (Isaiah 65:24). Now we know
why some of our desires were never granted by God
– they were only our desires that did not become one
with God’s desire. I pray that from today, our desires
will become one with God’s desires in Jesus name.
Amen!
